Answers To Your Questions:
  1. What is the difference between California Classic and Everdial 1?

Nothing. We feature the California Classic plan because we believe that we have the LOWEST rates for California of any long distance carrier and we like to make a BIG DEAL about it.

  2. How long will it take for my service to be switched to Everdial?

Your service should be switched within 5-7 business days. You can call the verification number (toll free) at 1-700-555-4141. You should hear a recording which says "Welcome to Primus" or "Welcome to WorldCom."
If by the 7th business day you are not switched, please call us at 800 263-6690.

  3. How do I sign up for Everdial 1?

The best and most efficient way to sign up is on-line! If you need extra help or don't have internet access, then we will sign you up over the phone. Hours are: 5am to 7pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, and 7am to 5pm on Saturday.

  4. Will charges from Everdial appear on my regular phone bill?

No. We will bill you separately. All of your calls will be itemized by dates and duration of calls. If you have more than one phone line, each number will be itemized with the calls made on that line. Billing will be provided by Primus.

  5. Do I have to dial any special codes to enjoy these rates?

No. Just pick up your phone and dial.

  6. How do I place an international call?

To make an international call: 011 + country code + city code + local number.
Please be aware that calls to mobile or wireless phones in many countries bill at a higher rate. If you look at the international chart and there is no special rate for mobile phones, then they will bill the same as a land line call.

  7. Do your calling plans have monthly fees or a minimum number of minutes I have to use each month?

There are absolutely NO monthly fees and NO mimimum usage.

  8. What are the billing increments?

ALL domestic calls both in-state and state-to-state are billed in 6 second increments with only a 6 second minimum. That means that you would have a minimum charge of about 1 cent on any answered call billed at 4.9 cents. Since we divide up every minute into ten pieces or 6 second increments, you are only billed for the portion of the minute that you use. International calls have a 30 second minimum with 6 second billing thereafter.

Note: This is PERFECT for businesses that make a lot of short calls or faxes.

  9. What are "local toll" or "regional toll" calls?

Local toll calls - also known as in-state long distance, regional toll, local long distance, or shorter distances calls - are typically the itemized calls that appear on your local phone bill. These calls span greater distances than local calls, but are not long distance calls. They may be within your area code or a different one - across town, or in the next county. The mileage on these is typically 12-40 or 50 miles. Everything beyond that is considered long distance. Local toll calls will be billed at the same rate as Everdial in-state rate for your state.

  10. Is Everdial 1 available as a dial around?

No. Everdial 1 customers will enjoy a bit more saving on most rates for signing up as a "dial 1" customer, although the Everdial around still has some excellent calling rates.

  11. What is a PIC Freeze?

A PIC Freeze is a block your local phone company puts on your line, per your request, which protects you from being switched (slammed) to another long distance carrier without your express consent.

  12. Are the rates higher to call to wireless or mobile phones?

Within the USA, calls to wireless or mobile phones bill at the same state to state or in-state rate.
Please be aware that calls to mobile or wireless phones in many countries bill at a higher rate. If you look at the international chart and there is no special rate for mobile phones, then they will bill the same as a land line call.
